Solid wood bed Gibraltar – new 2026 design
We have redesigned the Gibraltar: a simple, fully enclosed bed frame in laminated solid wood with a clear design language – no headboard, no visible fittings. Instead of the open bookshelf there is now storage space under the entire sleeping surface: designed for a lift-up slatted frame with gas springs (on display in our showroom) that opens up the space under the mattress – with a built-in floor panel so nothing lies on the floor.
Optional: chest at the head end. To match the bed there is a solid wood chest in the width of the bed (as shown) with a lift-off lid and hand slots in the end panels – as a shelf, a bench and extra storage. Surcharge €490, also available separately. To order the chest, call us on +49 30 615 92 23, e-mail info@etage7.de or ask in the shop.
The Gibraltar is available in five woods in laminated solid wood – beech, maple, oak, cherry and walnut.
The pictures show the cherry version, laminated solid wood, oil/wax finish, with the chest at the head end. Mattress and slatted frame not included.
On request, the Gibraltar bed frame in beech can also be made in two stain colours, 'cherry' and 'chocolate'. Surcharge for staining: €190
For tall people: extra lengths of 210 cm or 220 cm are of course no problem.
