Its closed, wrap-around solid wood construction gives the bed a calm, powerful presence and integrates generous storage space into the overall concept. The storage box is not an add-on but an integral part of the design. The clear, compact shape provides stability and at the same time brings a great sense of order to the room – everything finds its place, visibly reduced yet thought through in every detail. Each module holds two drawers – one large and one small – on smooth-running runners (module approx. H 36 | W 194.5 | D 69.5 cm for 200 cm length – for other lengths the module is made to fit). The version "large left / small right" or "small left / large right" describes the position of the two drawers when looking at the side of the bed – so you can choose the module to suit the left or right side. Where space is precious, SPAZE creates it: beneath the seemingly floating sleeping surface are up to four generous drawers with soft self-closing – storage for bed linen, pillows and more, with no need for an extra chest of drawers. Designed by the design duo kaschkasch and made in the workshop of Müller Small Living in Germany. Its clear, pared-back design language is characteristic: rounded corners, slightly angled frame sides and the visible, finely oiled birch plywood edge that runs around the carcass as a warm line. The bed rests on slim legs and thus floats 25 mm above the floor. The highly hard-wearing surface in white or matt black feels velvety soft and stands up to everyday use. From a width of 140 cm, the bed is supplied with a stabilising centre beam. Retrofitting the headboard later is laborious, as the complete head component has to be replaced. We are happy to advise you before you buy – so that your choice is right from the start. The slatted frame and mattress are not included in the delivery.
