An island – and not just for sleeping. Which of us has not occasionally wished to spend the whole day relaxing on a private meadow? Our MAUDE bed, created by the Swiss designer Michael Mettler, provides the perfect basis for exactly that. As an option we also offer upholstered back panels that can be placed flexibly and comfortably into the front or rear box. The design is therefore not only suitable for sleeping – it also serves as a comfortable reading sofa, a romantic breakfast setting or the perfect place for relaxed conversation. The surface of the backrests can be freely chosen from our Müller fabric selection. If mounted differently, the two boxes can alternatively be used as storage for books or other items. The slender cast aluminium legs provide a high degree of stability. The wooden parts are made from plywood with a white or anthracite CPL coating, or lacquered in the 20 Müller design colours. STAPELLIEGE – the design icon by Rolf Heide, since 1966 A design that has lost none of its clarity to this day: Rolf Heide created the STAPELLIEGE in 1966 as an ingenious space-saver – a bed that can be stacked, doubled up and transformed. It is still made today in Germany in the workshop of Müller Möbelwerkstätten and was honoured with the German Design Award in 2019. At Etage 7 you get the original – now in considerably more sizes and colours. Two STAPELLIEGE beds side by side – two single beds become a double bed in no time. An idea from 1966 – still just as good today When Rolf Heide designed the STAPELLIEGE, his thinking was radically simple: a bed that can be stacked as soon as you need the space for something else. No frills, just a clever form in curved plywood. It is precisely this reduction that makes it a classic to this day – handmade, piece by piece. Is the STAPELLIEGE suitable for a children's room?Yes. The low entry height is child-friendly, and a guard rail is available on request. SPAZE – the storage bed that thinks ahead. Where space is precious, SPAZE creates it: beneath the seemingly floating sleeping surface are up to four generous drawers with soft self-closing – storage for bed linen, pillows and more, with no need for an extra chest of drawers. Designed by the design duo kaschkasch and made in the workshop of Müller Small Living in Germany. Its clear, pared-back design language is characteristic: rounded corners, slightly angled frame sides and the visible, finely oiled birch plywood edge that runs around the carcass as a warm line. The bed rests on slim legs and thus floats 25 mm above the floor. The highly hard-wearing surface in white or matt black feels velvety soft and stands up to everyday use.
