Hemp latex futon - the perfect mattress for sofa beds
Many people want a sofa bed for guests, as a spare bed or for sleeping on every day. The only problem is that the sleeping comfort of the folding beds available from wholesalers usually leaves something to be desired. We have taken on this subject and, with the hemp latex futon, developed a mattress precisely matched to the requirements of a sofa bed that folds once. Soft and point-elastic at the surface, it adapts perfectly to the contours of your body and thus ensures restorative sleep. The hemp fibre in the middle of the sandwich construction is flexible and makes it possible to create a continuous mattress with no transfer of movement.
100 % natural latex for the sofa bed too
As with all our natural mattresses, we use exclusively 100 % natural rubber for the hemp latex futon. Sofa beds in particular are exposed to great stress from being folded and from the high point pressure of sitting. Natural latex offers the dimensional stability and resilience required for this, especially given that sofa bed mattresses must not be too thick either. Besides the softness of the natural latex, the hemp in the core provides sufficient support (firmness) and thus also compensates for the mostly sub-optimal slatted frames of sofa beds.
