Latex sandwich - natural mattress in futon style
The latex sandwich combines the padding properties of a classic cotton futon with the elasticity and pressure-relieving character of 100% natural latex. In this relatively slim natural mattress, a core of 3 cm thick latexed coconut fibre prevents you from sinking in too deeply or coming into contact with the slatted frame. Our latex sandwich natural mattress was developed specially for customers who appreciate the lying properties of a cotton futon but find its pressure relief when lying on the side too ascetic. The unrivalled adaptability and point elasticity of natural rubber provides gentle adaptation to the contours of your body when lying on your side, while the coconut fibre core gives the spine sufficient support when lying on your front and back.
100% natural latex for healthy sleep
Thanks to its excellent resilience and dimensional stability even when exposed to moisture, natural rubber can even be combined with rigid slatted frames. In the latex sandwich, the firm coconut core acts on the latex layer beneath it with area elasticity, rather like a flexible slatted frame. Using a flexible slatted frame increases adaptability and means the sleeper no longer feels the difference between surface and core so clearly. The latex sandwich is thus a comfortable futon on all slatted frame systems, combining cosiness with firmness in an orthopaedically balanced way.
