Its multi-layer construction prevents you from sinking in too deeply thanks to two coconut cores, while the layers of 100% natural latex provide point elasticity at the surface and room for compression at the centre of the mattress. Positioning the spine straight while relieving pressure lets the muscles relax, prevents one-sided loading of the intervertebral discs, improves circulation and lets you wake up well rested. Conventional mattress retailers often offer an innerspring mattress as the solution to weight problems. Unfortunately barrel pocket springs do not provide the desired and recommended pressure relief, as the pressure distribution of innerspring mattresses is inadequate. A 7-zone cold foam mattress, even a very firm one, has the problem that when you turn onto your back the gentler "hip zone" becomes the "buttock zone", so there is a risk that the buttocks sink in too deeply and a hollow back position develops, leading to one-sided loading of the spine. Thanks to its very high SAG factor, natural rubber is so adaptable that a completely homogeneous surface can be produced without cutting arbitrary body zones into it - and so a mattress can be made, even for heavier people, that always relieves the spine correctly whatever the sleeping posture.
Thanks to its unrivalled resilience and dimensional stability even when exposed to moisture, natural rubber can even be combined with rigid slatted frames. This is a great advantage with critical slatted frame widths in combination with higher body weight.
The perforation and open-pored structure of the latex core and the layers of coconut fibre guarantee good air circulation and a pleasant sleeping climate. The mattress drill is made of untreated cotton, backed with a fleece of cotton (summer side) and new wool (winter side).
