Sofa bed Colpus

A solid matt black steel frame is the basis for a durable sofa bed that makes no compromises on high comfort and flexible living. With one movement, the clean, compact sofa becomes a full-size sleeping surface – ideal for small rooms and everyday use.

The sleeping surface is a futon from our own workshop – developed especially for these sofas: high quality and tested for harmful substances. Available as a hemp latex sandwich or a hemp latex sandwich Komfort – we explain the difference right here.

Hemp latex sandwich or Komfort? The difference in the futon

Both futons come from our own workshop and share the same natural sandwich construction: 100 % natural latex (point-elastic, firmness 2 / 75 kg/m³), a central hemp fibre core for support, plus futon-quilted cotton for a pleasant sleeping climate – tested for harmful substances by the Eco Institute. The difference lies in the ratio of latex to coconut:

The firmer futon: a slimmer latex layer, but more coconut – firmer and more supportive to lie on. Perfect for back and front sleepers, but also suitable for side sleepers.

Considerably more natural latex – softer as a result, so you sink in more deeply. Ideal for side sleepers and anyone who likes it softer. Hence the name Komfort.
